THE

MEDICAL
TOWERS

EST. 1954
Pearl Hospitality redeveloped and revitalized Houston’s historic 1954 Medical Towers building into the luxurious Westin Houston Medical Center in 2019 into a unique dining promenade that serves the Texas Medical Center and surrounding community. The project came to fruition as a thoughtful collaboration between preservationists, architects, designers and a hotelier.

The Westin Houston Medical Center

The hotel’s design is an intersection of academia, art, medicine and nature, inviting guests to take respite from the rigors of everyday life. The hub of the hotel is the fifth level pavilion where the hotel’s lobby, ballroom, Terrace 54 Bar + Table restaurant, and two expansive terraces are swathed in unobstructed natural light with floor-to-ceiling window views. Furthermore, a vast and carefully curated art collection with predominately Houston-based artists is on display throughout the hotel with the intent is to reflect Houston’s cultural diversity.
